Dr Steven Lu provides private fee-for-service consulting. Appointment fees can be paid for prior to, or within one week following your consultation.
For Medicare eligible patients, most investigations arranged by Dr Steven Lu will attract no further out-of-pocket costs.

Payments are taken at booking by Credit Card through our online system. Stripe is our Credit Card processing platform.
We otherwise accept Direct Deposit, Credit Card, and Cash payments.

Our service does not accept bank cheques, or EFTPOS.

Most of the services provided by Dr Steven Lu are eligible for a Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item number with the accompanying rebate.
Medicare item numbers and rebates can change with minimal notice.
For patients without Medicare but with private health insurance (such as overseas visitors), any rebate is set by the insurer and depends on your insurance product. Please contact your insurer to enquire if you are eligible for a rebate.
Corporate services do not attract a rebate from Medicare or any private health insurer.

We can submit the relevant Medicare claim on your behalf if you have registered your bank details with Medicare.
If you have not registered your bank details with Medicare, and would like us to process your Medicare rebate directly to your account, please provide your bank details, including:

Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment time will attract an administration fee equivalent to 20% of your consultation fee.
